Introduction

This village, known as the "number one Dong village", is one of the largest Dong ethnic villages in the country, with a population of over 6000 people. The main architectural style of the village is stilted buildings with a classic Dong style, built along the river, with a beautiful and unique layout. All residents have the same surname "Lu" and the village is divided into natural areas by the drum towers, where the local people call "tuan". All hostel addresses are mainly based on these drum towers. The drum tower is the symbol of the Dong village, where people gather, socialize and relax. The appearance, height and size of the five drum towers have their own unique characteristics and are very magnificent.

08:00-22:00 (all day) (January 1 to December 31, Monday to Sunday) Note: Local residents from Liping, Luoxiang and Guandong in Guizhou Province can enter for free with their ID card or household registration certificate. From July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, advanced individuals in national defense mobilization can enter for free with their personal preferential certificate. Starting from April 1, 2021, local residents of Foshan and Hangzhou can enter for free with their valid ID cards.

Transportation

(1) Congjiang - Zhaoxing a) The high-speed railway station in Congjiang is about 3 kilometers away from Zhaoxing Dong Village. Take a minibus directly to the entrance of the village without purchasing a sightseeing car ticket. b) Take the shuttle bus from Congjiang Bus Station to Zhaoxing at 07:50 and 13:00, which takes about 3 hours. You can also first take a bus from Congjiang to Luoxiang, with an average of 40 minutes to 2 hours between 7:00-17:30 and a journey of about 2 hours, and then take a tricycle from Luoxiang to Zhaoxing for about 20 minutes. It takes about half an hour to walk from Luoxiang to Zhaoxing. Tourists from Guangdong and Guangxi areas can directly reach Congjiang Railway Station in Luoxiang Town and then transfer to Zhaoxing. (2) Liping - Zhaoxing There are direct buses from Liping Bus Station to Zhaoxing, with 9 buses per day between 07:20-16:45, with an interval of about 1-1.5 hours. If you are driving, take the highway at Liping South Station, drive south, and get off at Congjiang East Station (Luoxiang), then turn left and drive straight along the Zongyi Road (Luoxiang Fork Road Intersection to Zhaoxing Main Road) to Zhaoxing.
