Introduction

The Yumen Pass, also known as the Small Square Town, was once prosperous due to the prosperity of the Silk Road. As a must-pass place for businessmen in the Western Regions and Central Plains, it has witnessed numerous commercial and cultural exchanges. It is said that Hetian jade was also transported to the Central Plains from here and named after it. With the passage of time and the erosion of years, the Yumen Pass has lost its former glory and now only remains as a pile of earthen ruins.
