Introduction

It is the largest Taoist temple in the ancient city, located on the north side of East Street, originally named Taiping Temple, built in the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty. Inside the temple, there are valuable ancient steles and other cultural relics. Qing Xu Temple faces south and most of the existing buildings were built during the Yuan and Ming dynasties. The temple consists of 10 buildings, with three courtyards in front and back, including archway, mountain gate, Dragon and Tiger Hall, Chongyang Palace, Sanqing Hall, Jade Emperor Pavilion, etc.
