Introduction

In the earthquake on August 8, 2017, China's widest calcium carbonate waterfall, Nuorilang Waterfall, suffered significant damage and collapsed on the afternoon of August 10. Now, the former magnificent waterfall has disappeared completely. In the summer, Nuorilang Waterfall has the highest water volume, and tourists can enjoy the most spectacular scenery. In the long winter, mysterious ice waterfall wonders can appear. Tourists can admire the panoramic view of the waterfall from the viewing platform opposite the waterfall. Nuorilang Waterfall is located in the center of Jiuzhaigou. There is a service center around the scenic spot, which is the most fully equipped place for services in the valley.

Monday to Sunday from 08:30-17:00. Note: The scenic area is open during limited time slots, and some attractions have resumed trial operation as of September 27, 2019.
Transportation
Norilang Waterfall is located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. Jiuhuang Airport is built nearby, about 400 kilometers from Chengdu. Transportation to Jiuzhaigou: [Internal transportation in Jiuzhaigou] There are environmentally-friendly sightseeing buses running inside the scenic area, and tourists can get on and off at the stops of each attraction with a ticket. Please notify the driver in advance where to get off, otherwise the driver will not actively ask if the tourists want to get off at a certain attraction.
