Temple

Introduction

Tagong Temple is a famous Sakya sect (also known as Flower Teachings) temple in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It has a history of over a thousand years and is an important place of worship for Tibetan people in the Kham region. Along with Yaqing Temple and Larung Gar (Seda Buddhist Institute), Tagong Temple is well-known for being a large and influential temple in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

Transportation

[Shuttle Bus] Tagong Village is located on the Sichuan-Tibet Northern Line and transportation is very convenient. However, the shuttle bus passing through the village does not wait for passengers unless it is a chartered bus or a drop-off request. There are small buses running between Kangding and Tagong, which is very convenient. Therefore, it is recommended to take the first shuttle bus from Kangding. [Chartered Bus] It costs about 150 yuan for a round-trip chartered bus from Kangding to Tagong.
