Introduction
Wild Sanpo Scenic Area, located in Laishui County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is about 100 kilometers west of downtown Beijing, and is a destination for escaping the city hustle and bustle, enjoying natural beauty, and summer outings. The collective name of the scenic area group is Sanpo, which includes various landscapes such as canyon cliffs, alpine meadows, karst caves, and river scenery, each with its own characteristics. Among them, Bailixia, Baicaopan, Yugu Cave, Longmen Tianguan, and Juma River are closer to the center of Sanpo Town, with separate ticket sales, and the distance between scenic spots is about 10-30 kilometers without interval buses. Self-driving or finding a local car rental is recommended for sightseeing. The visit usually takes two days, and you can visit different scenic spots according to the recommended routes. Bailixia Scenic Area is a must-visit place, where you can enjoy deep canyons, waterfall streams, steep cliffs, and strange peaks. You can also watch the Impression Sanpo performance at the entrance of the scenic area every night. Baicaopan Forest Park and Yugu Cave also have their own characteristics, while Juma River is a paradise for entertainment, where you can experience karst cave drifting, bamboo rafting, horseback riding, and even bring your own equipment for a picnic and barbecue. If you have time, you can also add Longmen Tianguan Scenic Area, and a one-day tour can choose to visit only the BaiLixia Scenic Area.
