Introduction

Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huairou District, Beijing and is one of the sixteen new scenic spots in Beijing. It is connected to Juyongguan Great Wall to the west and Gubeikou Great Wall to the east. It is approximately 5,400 meters long, making it one of the longest Great Walls in China. The open section is about 2,250 meters long and has three enemy towers, which is extremely rare. Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area has many famous landscapes, such as Jiankou, Niujiaobian, and Yingfei Daoyang, which are located at the western end of the Great Wall and represent the essence of the Great Wall. In addition, not only Chinese tourists but also many foreign leaders visit Mutianyu, such as former British Prime Minister Thatcher and former US President Clinton, among others.
