The Yanqing Hundred Miles Gallery scenic area includes one loop, three zones, and twelve spatial nodes, involving 112 kilometers of the Binhe Ring Road. The scenic area contains a variety of natural tourism resources, such as the magical petrified wood group, the beautiful Drip Kettle Waterfall, the mysterious Black Dragon Gorge, the solemn Chaoyang Temple, the ancient Guandi Temple, and the lush Datan primitive secondary forest in the picturesque Baihe Valley and magnificent Black River Gorge. Baihe Gorge is a large canyon that stretches from Baihebao Reservoir in the northeastern part of the old county of Yanqing District, through Huairou, and flows towards Miyun Reservoir. The upper section of the gorge runs from Baihebao Reservoir to the mouth of Tanghe River in Huairou. Miyun Reservoir is known as the "Pearl of Yan Mountain" and is the largest man-made lake in Asia. It is also Beijing's largest and only source of drinking water supply.
