Introduction

Tobacco Pouch Street, with a total length of 232 meters, is one of the oldest commercial streets in Beijing. During the Qing Dynasty, it mainly sold tobacco-related products, framed calligraphy and paintings, and antique jade. The shape of Tobacco Pouch Street itself resembles a tobacco pouch, with a long and narrow street resembling a tobacco pouch handle, and the eastern entrance resembling a tobacco pouch mouth, hence the name. Here, you can not only find Beijing paper cutting, sugar blowing figurines, and Beijing's specialty snacks, but also experience the ancient and unique market atmosphere, which is full of charm. Nearby, there are well-known attractions such as the Silver Ingot Bridge, Lotus Market, and Prince Gong's Mansion, as well as unique local foods like Yaoji Fried Liver and Nanmen Hot Pot, allowing visitors to have a comprehensive experience.
