Introduction
A section of the historic district of Cordoba, located northwest of the Mosque-Cathedral. During Muslim rule, Jews were prominent citizens and actively integrated into society. Even after the Christian reconquest of Cordoba, they paid taxes to ensure the stability of their living conditions. However, in 1492, the Catholic Monarchs issued a decree ordering the expulsion of all Jews. Forced to leave their homes, the Jews lost their place of refuge. Address The Jewish quarter, Cordoba
