Introduction
Akatsuka Orchid Gardens is located on the Big Island of Hawaii and is home to over a hundred varieties of orchids. It is the most comprehensive orchid garden in the United States. Hawaii's tropical climate provides ideal conditions for orchid growth, and through hybridization and improvement, orchids have developed a wide range of varieties and colors.
