Introduction

Porto Cristo, meaning "Port of Christ", is located in the Mallorca Islands, about a 10-minute drive from Manacor. In 1260, locals discovered a cross on a stranded fishing boat and believed it was a sign of Jesus' arrival, hence the name of the port. Porto Cristo features pleasant and serene scenery, with small boats still docking there. Nearby, there are also famous tourist attractions, such as the Cuevas del Drach cave system.
