Introduction

Cokto Peak is located on the southeastern edge of the city, reaching an elevation of 1100 meters. Standing on the top of the mountain is a towering 372-meter television tower. From the mountaintop, you can enjoy magnificent natural beauty and admire sculptures created by the Beatles as well as relax on benches. Additionally, there is a mini zoo and amusement park on the summit, which is beloved by children. If you feel thirsty or hungry, you can try delicious food in the restaurant or café on the mountain top.

Transportation

Take bus number 6 across the Kazakhstan Hotel on Dostyk Avenue in the city center to reach the Kok-Tobe Hill Gondola near Abay Metro Station. The bus fare is 80 tenge. Then take the cable car for about 5 minutes to reach the mountain top. The cable car fare is 1000 tenge one way.
