Introduction

Located on the west coast of Sabah, Malaysia, Kinabalu National Park (also known as Mount Kinabalu National Park) is one of the earliest established national parks in the country and one of the first to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In December 2000, the park was successfully included in the UNESCO World Heritage List under the name "Kinabalu Park". The park covers an area of 754 square kilometers. In addition, Kinabalu Mountain National Park is also one of the most popular attractions in Sabah Province.
