Introduction

Jing'an Temple is a famous ancient Buddhist temple in Shanghai, known for its unique architectural style that combines features of Tibetan temples. The main buildings of the temple include the mountain gate, the hall of heavenly kings, and the hall of the great Buddha, which houses a silver Buddha statue weighing 15 tons. From a distance, the entire temple shines brightly, attracting extra attention. Jing'an Temple is always bustling with activity, especially during the birthdays or commemorative days of the Bodhisattvas, when the temple holds religious ceremonies. Every year, on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, a three-day temple fair is also held, attracting numerous followers who come to worship.
