Introduction

Jiuli Lake is located in Zhongshan Town, Xianyou County, Fujian Province, with an altitude of up to 590 meters and a distance of 31 kilometers from the county seat. It is famous for its four landscapes: lake, cave, pool, and stone. The most famous of them is Fei Tan, which has been known as the "world wonder of Jiuli Lake flying waterfall" since ancient times. Xu Xiake, a Ming Dynasty traveler, once named it one of the "three wonders" of Fujian, along with Wuyi Mountain and Yuhua Cave. The most distinctive attraction of Jiuli Lake is the Jiuzha waterfall, named after their respective shapes. The waterfall roars and the waves are rough, with Pearl Curtain, Jade Pillar, Stone Gate, Five Stars, Flying Phoenix, Chessboard and General, all varying in size by 3-4 meters, with a drop of more than 100 meters. The waterfall falls straight down, with silver snakes flying and pearls and jade splashing. The most spectacular are the waterfall, Pearl Curtain, and Jade Pillar. The Jiuzha waterfall, which is more than 10 kilometers long, has steep cliffs and twists and turns, which is fascinating.
