Introduction
The Grassland Sky Road is an important transportation hub located at the junction of Zhangbei County and Chongli District in Zhangjiakou. It connects Chongli Ski Resort, Chicang Hot Springs Resort, and Zhangbei Grassland Scenic Area. It is one of the top 10 most beautiful roads in Mainland China, with a total length of approximately 132.7 kilometers. There are many tourist attractions around the Grassland Sky Road, such as Huapiling, Yehuling, and the ancient Great Wall. The road was completed and opened to traffic in late September 2012 with an investment of 320 million yuan. The scenery along the road is beautiful, with winding rivers, mountains, deep gullies, verdant grasslands, and various attractions. These include many cultural, ecological, and geological sites, such as the ruins of the ancient Great Wall, Huapiling, Yehuling, and Zhangbei Grassland.
