Introduction

Changhai, located at the end of Zecha Wa Gou, has a "S"-shaped distribution with surrounding mountains. Across from Changhai, typical glacier landscapes such as snow peaks, ice ditches, and "U"-shaped valleys can be seen. The lush vegetation along the shore creates a picturesque view. It is the highest and widest lake in Jiuzhaigou with the deepest water, sourced from melting snow in the mountains and never dries up. Local Tibetans call it the "never full, never dry" treasure gourd as it maintains a dark blue color all year round. In early autumn, Changhai is covered with a white armor, and in winter, the ice layer can reach 60 centimeters thick, even allowing heavy cars to drive on it. It's worth noting that Changhai doesn't have an outlet but relies on evaporation and underground rivers to become one of the water sources for all lakes in Jiuzhaigou.
