Introduction
This large temple, modeled after the Tang Dynasty style, is located in the cultural tourism area of Nanshan in Sanya. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery, with mountains behind and facing the sea. The architectural complex includes the Hall of the Heavenly Kings, the Hall of the Great Hero, the Bell Tower, the Wheel Repository, the East and West Climbing Corridors, the East and West Side Halls, and the Golden Hall, all of which are shadows of Tang Dynasty architecture. The architectural design is well-organized and cleverly constructed. The three main statues in the main hall of the Golden Hall represent the "Three Buddhas of the World". The entire building is grand in scale and is the largest newly built Buddhist site in China in the past fifty years, as well as the largest temple in southern China.
