Introduction
This pass, built in 1381, is located at the eastern starting point of the Great Wall and serves as the boundary between the interior and exterior of the pass. It was an important barrier for Beijing during the Ming Dynasty. The pass consists of several parts, such as the pass city, urn city, Luo city, Yi city, lookout city and beacon tower, forming a complete and tight military defense system.
