Introduction

Changsha Ecological Zoo has a total of 37 areas, including walking enclosure areas, vehicle enclosure areas, science education areas, ecological landscape areas, leisure and entertainment areas, logistics service areas, as well as animal enclosures and training grounds. It houses over 300 species and more than 5,000 animals, providing visitors with a feast for the eyes. Changsha Ecological Zoo is the only wild animal breeding and exhibition unit in Hunan Province that has been approved and certified by the State Forestry Administration and the Ministry of Agriculture. It is able to introduce and breed class I and II aquatic and terrestrial wild animals, and is a non-profit and professional wildlife zoo. The vehicle enclosure area includes 11 areas such as the Bengal Tiger area, White Tiger area, African Lion area, Leopard area, Northeast Tiger area, Wolf area, Black Bear area, Brown Bear area, as well as the Asian Herbivorous Mammal area and African Herbivorous Mammal area. The walking enclosure area includes over 30 specialized animal exhibits such as the Giant Panda House, Red Panda House, Crocodile House, Elephant House, Rhino House, Reptile House, Tiger and Leopard House, Primate House, and more.
