Introduction
This courtyard-style building, located at the southern foot of Gushan, is the center of the West Lake Scenic Area and has the characteristics of a typical Jiangnan garden. The museum is divided into six main areas, with the main exhibition hall being the basic display hall, and the other areas including the celadon hall, calligraphy and painting hall, crafts hall, coin hall, and international gift hall. The museum houses over 100,000 cultural relics, covering the history of civilization in Zhejiang province from the Hemudu culture to the modern era. Although the facilities of this museum are somewhat outdated following the development of the Zhejiang Provincial Museum, and some of the collections have been moved to the new museum (Wulin Museum), its reputation remains undiminished and there are still many exhibits worth seeing. What's more, after visiting here, you can also take a tour of the beautiful scenery of Gushan. Address 25 Gushan Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province
