Introduction
Manjue Long, also known as Manlong or Manjialong, is located south of West Lake in Hangzhou, and is a mountain valley at the southern foot of NanGao Peak. In the fourth year of Tianfu in the Later Jin Dynasty (939 AD), Yuanxing Temple was built, and in the second year of Zhiping in the Northern Song Dynasty (1065 AD), it was renamed Manjue Temple, which means "perfect enlightenment" and was named after the temple. Manjue Long is famous for its osmanthus flowers. Every autumn, when the osmanthus flowers bloom, the fragrance fills the air, and the falling petals create a scene like rain, thus earning the reputation of "Manlong Guiyu" (Osmanthus Rain on Manlong). In 1985, "Manlong Guiyu" was selected as one of the Ten New West Lake Scenic Spots. Address Manjuelong, Xihu Scenic Area, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province
