Introduction

Guangzhou Zoo, located on the eastern section of Xianlie Middle Road, was built in 1958 and is renowned along with the zoos in Beijing and Shanghai. The zoo is an ideal destination for family outings, where visitors can learn about small animals and visit the oceanarium and amusement park. The zoo exhibits rare animals such as giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, South China tigers, sika deer, and black-necked cranes, as well as hippos, rhinos, and African elephants from around the world. The different themed areas in the oceanarium, butterfly house, Jinlin Garden, and Qishi Hall, as well as the amusement park, offer visitors more entertainment choices. Additionally, the funny park's sheep, ponies, and pigs are particularly popular with children. The park also offers scheduled feedings for hippos, elephants, pelicans, and other animals that interested visitors can watch. Note: Separate tickets are required for the amusement park and the oceanarium, Jinlin Garden, and Qishi Hall's amusement projects.
