Introduction

Sixi and Yancun are actually two villages, connected by a small river and a road. The village is mainly comprised of Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings, with paved stone streets. The ancient buildings are backed by green mountains, facing clear streams and flower fields, nestled in the natural scenery of Jin Feng Xiu Ling and Qingxi Bihe. The houses blend seamlessly with the natural environment, creating a picturesque and poetic atmosphere. In addition, this place served as the filming location for the 1987 version of "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio" and the 2004 TV series "Blue and White Porcelain", as well as the prototype location for the lilac girl in Dai Wangshu's famous poem "Rain Alley".
