Introduction

5A-level scenic spots known for their picturesque rivers, ancient temples, and secluded valleys with cascading waterfalls. Reputed as the "Penglai on the Sea" since the Han Dynasty. Snowy Cave Mountain, famously visited by Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, was named "Dream Mountain" due to his dream about it. Snowy Cave Temple, one of the ten major Zen temples in the world, and the tallest sitting bronze outdoor Maitreya Buddha statue can also be found here. Standing on the observation deck of Qianzhangyan waterfall, one can see lush trees everywhere, creating a natural oxygen bar. There are also small houses in the countryside, offering a leisurely and serene lifestyle.

Transportation

1. Buses leave every 5 minutes from the southern bus station for Xikou. 2. Take the express bus to Xikou. Tourists from various cities need to take a bus to Ningbo Southern Bus Station and then take a shuttle bus to Xikou. If there is a long-distance bus to Fenghua from the starting station, you can also go to Fenghua Bus Station first and then take a shuttle bus to Xikou. Driving directions to Xikou: Ningbo: Yongjin Expressway-Xikou East or Ningbo 34 Provincial Road-Jiangba Line-Xikou Shanghai: Shenhai Expressway (cross-sea bridge) - Ningbo Ring Expressway - Yongjin Expressway - Xikou East Exit - Scenic Area Hangzhou: Hangyong Expressway - Ningbo Ring Expressway - Yongjin Expressway - Xikou East Exit - Scenic Area Jinhua: Yongjin Expressway - Xikou West Exit - Scenic Area Wenzhou: Yongtaiwen Expressway - Fenghua Xiwu Exit - Fenghua Dacheng Road - Maitreya Avenue - Xikou.
