Introduction
Drum Tower, also known as Haishu Tower, is the only remaining ancient city tower site in Ningbo, built during the Tang Dynasty. Climbing to the top of the tower, one can overlook the beautiful scenery of the entire Ningbo city. It's worth mentioning that there is also a unique Roman-style clock tower on the top of the tower, combining Chinese and Western design styles.
The area around Gongyuan road is the center of Ningbo's main cultural activities, and various art exhibitions such as painting, calligraphy, and photography are often held inside the tower. The area around the Drum Tower is also a pedestrian shopping district with an antique style, and the Ningbo specialty snacks such as oil zangzi here are a must-visit for food lovers.
