Introduction

The museum building itself is an exhibit, using old blue bricks to stick onto the cement structure of the exterior wall, presenting a unique style. The exhibition theme mainly focuses on the local features of Ningbo, and the exhibition hall is divided into three floors. One floor is a temporary special exhibition, which requires additional tickets, while the second and third floors are free regular exhibitions. The main highlight of the museum is the "Eastern 'Shenzhou' - Ningbo Historical Exhibition" on the second floor, and the third floor is a special exhibition on bamboo carving and Ningbo folk customs. Compared to the second floor exhibition, the "Ala" Old Ningbo Folk Customs Exhibition on the third floor is more vivid. Visitors can stroll through the simulated old Ningbo street, making them feel like they have traveled back to Ningbo in the last century.
