Introduction

Dawu Ancient Town is one of the "Four Great Market Towns" of ancient Guangxi, built in 200 AD. The old Dawu Street is not wide, with flat bluestone roads. The old houses on both sides are mostly two-story Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings made of green bricks and tiles. Many old handicraft workshops, such as bamboo weaving, grass shoe workshops, traditional medicine clinics, and old barber shops, are still preserved, with traces of history everywhere. The ancient town is very quiet, with mostly elderly people and children in the old houses, showing a peaceful appearance.
