Yan Feng Lou
Yan Feng Lou Roast Duck Restaurant is considered a very famous dining establishment in Shijiazhuang. It was founded in the 1970s, and in 1983, Mr. Fu Jie personally inscribed the words 'Yan Feng Lou'. In 2002, it was recognized as a 'Chinese Culinary Famous Restaurant' by the China Cuisine Association. The signature specialties of Yan Feng Lou include roast duck, red sausage, and buns. Most people who come here will eat and take some to go, packing a few portions of red sausage and a roast duck to take home and enjoy.
Baichigan Hotel
Baichigan is a time-honored restaurant with local characteristics of Shijiazhuang. Legend has it that during the Jiaqing period, an old man named Yang cured the Empress's illness with a plate of dumplings. The Emperor was so pleased that he personally inscribed the words 'Heavenly banquet, earthly celebration, Baichigan in a small village,' and erected a hundred-foot pole in the center of the village as a commemoration.
Zhonghe Xuan
Zhonghe Xuan Restaurant was founded in 1920 by the Man brothers who came from Baoding to Shijiazhuang. It is a local specialty halal restaurant. In 1947, central leaders such as Zhu De dined at Zhonghe Xuan. Now it is 2019, and next year Zhonghe Xuan Restaurant will become a true century-old establishment!
