Hanging Village
When you hear the term 'cliffside plank road,' you might not feel much, as many mountain scenic spots have similar plank roads. However, this ancient road in Ningwu has three unique features: it's hanging, low, and ancient! The village is picturesque with clear mountains and waters, beautiful landscapes, and enchanting scenery. The roads on both sides soar into the clouds, with lush forests reaching straight into the sky.
Shentan Grand Canyon Glass Skywalk
The Shentan Grand Canyon Skywalk is built on the 700-meter-high cliff on the west side of Shentan Grand Canyon, with a total length of 2016 meters. Among them, the suspended glass section is 158.6 meters long. It is divided into a mountain-climbing walkway, a platform-style viewing deck, a suspended glass section, and a high-altitude walkway scenic area, providing thrilling and exciting experiences for visitors.
Tianji Mountain Cloud Cliff Walkway
The Cloud Cliff Walkway in the tourist attraction is known as the 'First Walkway in North China'. The entire walkway is divided into two parts. One part is zigzag-shaped and is carved out by hand on a cliff that is several hundred meters high! At a vertical height of over 400 meters from the ground, on the 500-meter-long walkway, tourists can lean on the railing and gaze into the distance, admiring the majestic appearance of the Taihang Tianji, the scenery below the mountain, and the ever-changing sea of clouds beneath their feet, all in one glance.
The Hanging Temple is famous for its precariousness. It was named one of the world's top ten most unstable buildings by Time magazine. Built 1400 years ago during the late Northern Wei Dynasty, it is the only temple in China that combines Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. The long poles are not actually used for support; they are added to reassure visitors.
Mianshan Sky Bridge Walkway
Located between 'Yidou Spring' and 'Zhu's Hollow', the sky bridge is over 200 meters long and more than 20 meters high, rising above the clouds and standing over 300 meters from the bottom of the valley, making it unfathomably deep. The stone steps of Mianshan are acclaimed as the most unique sky walkway in the world. The winding 'Z' shape in mid-air, almost at a 75-degree cliff, with cloudy weather, makes it extremely thrilling as people walk with clouds swirling beneath their feet.
Pingshun Cliff Road
This road is completely suspended, hundreds of meters from the top and bottom of the valley. The cliff road has 39 openings. Carefully looking along the cliff, you can see continuous peaks and sheer cliffs that seem to be cut by knives and axes, which is breathtaking. Driving on the cliff is even more thrilling and exciting.
Dayu Ferry Glass Slide
The total length of the all-glass slide in the scenic area is over 500 meters, with a drop of more than 100 meters. It combines high-altitude extreme challenges, leisure and entertainment, and transportation, making it a unique tourism and leisure project. This project features a 60-meter-long elevated glass bridge and Shanxi Province's largest 420-square-meter glass viewing platform, offering a panoramic view from above.
Huguan Baquanjia Glass Viewing Platform
Located in the Baquanjia Scenic Area of the Taihang Mountain Grand Canyon in Huguan, Shanxi, the 'Sky City' open-air sightseeing elevator on a hundred-meter cliff has been certified by the World Record Association for three records: the highest open-air sightseeing elevator, the fastest operating through-door outdoor sightseeing elevator, and the largest cliff-side multi-layer transparent sightseeing elevator in the world.
Jincheng Jiunv Xianhu Glass Skywalk
This is a glass skywalk nearly 50 stories high. The thrill and shock it brings can rival the world-famous Grand Canyon Skywalk in the United States! Visitors who love challenges might as well come here to enjoy the natural scenery while experiencing the thrilling 'skywalk'.
Niangziguan Glass Walkway
The Niangziguan Glass Walkway is 91 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. Below the walkway is the Mian River, with a drop of 26 meters. It is one of the 4000-meter-long waterfall viewing walkways. Standing on the glass walkway, you can see the 500-meter-wide spring waterfall opposite, as well as some residential houses, offering you a different viewing experience.
