Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area
Huangguoshu Waterfall is the third largest and the largest waterfall in Asia. It is a typical erosion cataract and belongs to the typical waterfall in karst landform. Huangguoshu Waterfall consists of three scenic areas: Steep Slope Pond Waterfall, Huangguoshu Main Waterfall, and Tianxing Bridge. The water of Huangguoshu is exceptionally spectacular, flowing through the stone forest, walking in the water, and feeling the movement of the underwater. In addition to the waterfall, there are also peculiar rocks, strange trees, caves, gardens, and other landscapes. There are also Buoyi ethnic villages with strong ethnic flavor around the scenic area.
China's West Jiang Qianhu Miao Village
When you arrive in Guizhou, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is a must-visit place. Compared to other places, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is the largest Miao ethnic village in China and even in the world. Xiaoqi Kong Scenic Area integrates mountains, water, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls. It features the clear and tranquil Hanbi Pool, the rushing Laya Spring, the cascading 68-level waterfall, the twisted Turtle Back Mountain, the water forest intertwined with Linxi, the Mandarin Duck Lake embedded in the dense forest, the deep and charming Wolong Pool, and the scenic Xiangshui Lake that runs through the area. If there are fewer visitors, there will be a very tranquil and mysterious feeling here.
Qingyan Town
Qingyan Ancient Town, formed during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, has a history of more than 600 years. Located in the beautiful mountains and rivers of Guizhou, many streets are paved with bluestones. The ancient town is rich in history and culture, with a strong cultural atmosphere. The ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the town are scattered, with temples, pavilions, and intricately carved roofs. The architecture of the ancient town is built along the mountains, with superb stone and wood carving craftsmanship, containing rich myths and legends and unique local characteristics.
Zhenyuan Ancient Town has a history of over 2200 years and is a nationally recognized historical and cultural city. It was awarded the title of "One of China's Ten Most Beautiful Ancient Towns" in 2009.
