Guizhou, known as the "Park Province of China," is an emerging tourist destination in China. In Guizhou, there are countless mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and streams to admire. Huangguoshu Waterfall has always been one of the representative attractions of Guizhou, but it has undergone many changes from the 1990s to the present. As the largest waterfall in Asia, Huangguoshu Waterfall is surrounded by 18 large and small waterfalls, forming the largest waterfall cluster in the world. Visiting Huangguoshu Waterfall, you can not only see the waterfall but also explore caves and visit Buyi ethnic villages. China's first protected Buyi village, Huashishao, is located in the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. Nearby, there are other Buyi villages such as Shitouzhai and Gaodang Village.
Located at the junction of Jiangkou County, Yinjiang County, and Songtao County in Tongren City, Guizhou Province, Fanjing Mountain is one of the five famous Buddhist mountains in China and the most renowned in Guizhou. It was listed as a World Natural Heritage site in 2018. As a national nature reserve, Fanjing Mountain is home to protected species such as the Guizhou golden monkey and the dove tree. On Fanjing Mountain, you can not only admire geological wonders like the Mushroom Stone but also enjoy vast high-altitude rhododendrons in spring and spectacular snow scenes in winter. At the foot of Fanjing Mountain, there are numerous ethnic villages, such as Yunshui Village—the first Tujia village in China; Zhaiying Ancient Village—the hometown of Chinese rolling dragon art; and Qishuping Qiang Village—the only Qiang village in Guizhou.

Guizhou Rooftop

Located in Hezhang County, Bijie City, Asilisi is a new tourist attraction in Guizhou and also a seasonal tourist destination. Dajiu Caiping (Heavenly Flower Sea) is one of the three main attractions in the Asilisi Scenic Area, known for having the most wild chive flowers in the world; Xiaojia Caiping (Heavenly Stone Forest) is the highest peak in Guizhou, known as the Guizhou Rooftop, and there is also the Asilisi Grassland. The best time to visit is late summer to early autumn, when 300,000 acres of wild chive flowers bloom, making it feel like entering paradise.

Libo County

As a typical representative of the World Natural Heritage, Guizhou Libo Karst is considered the 'South China Karst'. Chishui Scenic Area is the only national scenic area named after an administrative division by the State Council. It includes several large scenic areas, each with its own unique features: 'City of a Thousand Waterfalls', 'Crown of Danxia', 'Land of Bamboo Forests', 'Kingdom of Tree Ferns', and 'Long March Sites'. Chishui is known for its numerous waterfalls, with representative sites including Chishui Grand Waterfall, the second largest waterfall in China, and Sidonggou Scenic Area. Chishui Danxia is a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site and the largest Danxia landform area in the world. Chishui Bamboo Sea is the second largest bamboo forest in China. Chishui Tree Fern National Nature Reserve is the only Jurassic Park in China.

Zhaoxing Dong Village

Centered around Zhaoxing, the Zhaoxing Dong Village cluster forms a Dong village tourism circle. Representative villages include Zhaoxing Dong Village, Tang'an Dong Village, Xiaohuang Dong Village, and Zhanli Dong Village. Zhaoxing Dong Village is primarily inhabited by the Lu family, divided into five major clans, each forming a natural subdivision locally referred to as 'Tuan Tuan'. These are divided into five groups: Ren, Yi, Li, Zhi, and Xin. Zhaoxing is not only known for its drum towers but also as a land of song and dance, with Dong song teams and Dong opera troupes in the village. Zhaoxing is the largest Dong village in the country. Among them, Xiaohuang Dong Village is known as the hometown of Grand Songs, Zhanli Dong Village is known for each family having one boy and one girl, and Tang'an Dong Village is considered the most beautiful Dong village.

Wumeng Grassland

Located in Panzhou City, Wumeng Grassland is the largest grassland in Guizhou. It features vast highland dwarf rhododendron forests, beautiful and mystical alpine lakes, rich Yi ethnic culture, and the rare natural wonder of Buddha's light, as well as Guizhou's second highest peak, Niupengliang Mountain. Every March, the vast rhododendron forests of Wumeng Grassland bloom spectacularly. In winter, Wumeng Grassland transforms into the Liupanshui Ski Resort.

Zhijin Cave Scenic Area

Located in Guanzhai Miao Township, Zhijin County, Guizhou Province, it is now a World Geopark. The cave is 6.6 kilometers long, with the widest point being 175 meters and a relative height difference of more than 150 meters. The total volume of the cave reaches five million cubic meters, with spacious areas and three levels. The cave is filled with over forty types of formations such as stalagmites, stone pillars, stone buds, and drapery, creating a diverse karst landscape. The cave is crisscrossed with stone peaks, flowing water, intermittent ponds, and underground lakes interspersed in between. It is known as the 'Karst Treasure' and 'Spectacular Cave'.

Caohai

Located in Weining County, Caohai is the largest natural lake in Guizhou. It is one of the world's top ten bird-watching bases and has been rated by National Geographic magazine as one of the world's most popular tourist destinations. It is known as the 'Sapphire on the Crown of Guizhou Tourism' and enjoys the reputations of 'Highland Pearl' and 'Bird Kingdom'. Among the birds, the most precious is the black-necked crane. There are currently 15 species of cranes in the world, and the black-necked crane, discovered the latest, is one of the world's rarest waterfowl.
