Daqishan National Forest Park
The ticket is around 50 yuan. You can book it through the guesthouse you are staying at, as they usually offer discounts. It's not a large park, and you can finish exploring it in about 2-3 hours. There is a bit of mountain climbing involved, but it's very gentle and not tiring, so it's suitable for the elderly as well. The natural scenery in the park is very beautiful, especially the water in Tonglu, which is a particularly clear blue-green color. It's really stunning.
Baiyunyuan Scenic Area
Along the way, there are small streams, and you can see many people parking by the roadside to play. The name of the scenic spot is also very fitting, 'Baiyunyuan', mainly for viewing mountains, water, and clouds. Climbing up is a bit more tiring than the first one, but you can take a sightseeing car for 30 yuan per ride. There is a viewing platform where you can take beautiful photos. If you want to take nice photos, Baiyunyuan is more recommended.
It is a small village with local characteristics, featuring many unique homestays and local restaurants. It is located near Baiyun Source, and you can visit it if you pass by.
