Xiling Snow Mountain is located in Dayi County, Chengdu, only 95 kilometers away from Chengdu. It takes about two hours to drive from Chengdu to Xiling Snow Mountain. The total area of Xiling Snow Mountain is 482.8 square kilometers. Xiling Snow Mountain is a World Natural Heritage site, a giant panda habitat, a AAAA-level tourist attraction, and a national key scenic spot. It is named after the famous verse by the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu: 'The window contains the thousand-year-old snow of Xiling, and the door anchors the ten-thousand-mile ship of Dongwu.' The scenic area features the Daxue Mountain, which is covered with snow all year round and has an altitude of 5,353 meters, making it the highest peak in Chengdu.
Dujiangyan
Dujiangyan is located about 1 kilometer west of Chengdu, situated on the main stream of the Minjiang River at Yulei Mountain. It is a famous hydraulic engineering project and a scenic tourist destination. From the entrance of Dujiangyan, you can visit Lidui Park, Fulong Temple, Baopingkou, Feishayan, Yuzui, Anlan Suspension Bridge, and Erlong Temple.
Sansheng Flower Town has a long history of flower cultivation and is famous for its flowers. It is designated by the Chengdu Municipal Government as a fresh cut flower production base and has been recognized as the 'Hometown of Chinese Flowers and Trees' by the State Forestry Administration and the China Flower Association. Hongsha Village's 'Flower Town Farmhouse' is also the only national scenic spot in Sichuan Province that features the style of Western Sichuan residences and flower culture, and it is one of the first national agricultural tourism demonstration sites.
Mount Qingcheng
Mount Qingcheng is one of the birthplaces of Taoism in China and is considered a famous Taoist mountain. It is located southwest of Dujiangyan City in Sichuan Province and was historically known as 'Zhangren Mountain'. It is a renowned historical mountain in China and a national key scenic spot. In 2000, it was listed as a World Heritage Site along with Dujiangyan.
Shixiang Lake
Pujiang Shixiang Lake boasts unique natural resources, with a large ecological park that has become a paradise for the coexistence of animals and plants. Moreover, Shixiang Lake is known as the 'Sea of Flowers,' and people even praise it as a 'Dreamland, a Land of Comfort, and a Paradise for Living.'
Flower Dance World
Chengdu Flower Dance World features four major themed flower exhibitions, ensuring that the scenic area is in bloom throughout the year. In spring, admire the azaleas; in summer, enjoy the fragrant lotus flowers; in autumn, seek out the wild chrysanthemums; and in winter, appreciate the red leaves that color the forest. Flower Dance World is the largest artificial azalea cultivation and exhibition site in Asia, boasting over 130 varieties and more than 5 million azalea plants. Unique globally, the meticulously cultivated azalea varieties include azalea vases, hollow azalea columns, azalea trees, and weeping azaleas.
