Drive Within 1 Hour from Shanghai to Visit Natural Family-Friendly Attractions

Shanghai's surrounding area offers a 1-hour drive to visit natural attractions, perfect for a family outing with kids and to let them experience the beauty of nature and gain more from it.

Xitang Liangrang Organic Farm

Affiliated with Xitang Liangrang Hotel. The farm includes a homestay, vegetable and fruit gardens, and a food truck. Across the river, there is an organic rose garden and a blueberry orchard that will soon be open. Currently, not many people know about it, and the large area provides a great experience. Highly recommended to bring kids to this soon-to-be popular 'niche' family-friendly farm for an afternoon of fun.

Qingxi Country Park

Thick tree roots are firmly rooted in the water, and the texture of the trunks, varying in depth, resembles a time image, with the clock ticking. On the land covered with fresh green moss, a gentle breeze brushes the treetops, insects rustle, and fish occasionally blow bubbles, causing slight ripples on the water surface. Sunlight filters through the gaps in the leaves, casting dappled shadows, seemingly revealing floating dust in the air. The misty forest looks like a fairyland. Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 (entry to the ecological conservation area stops at 16:30).

Xiaozhao Village Experience Farm

Little New Zealand in the Magic City‼️Hobbit Elf Village‼️This is actually a newly opened farm in the Magic City, and it is quite large! The small forest greenery is well done. Besides the Hobbit Village, you can also feed small animals like rabbits, alpacas, ducks, and pigs. You can take a taxi from Jiading North Station on Line 11, which is not too far. It takes about 40 minutes to drive from the city center. Ticket price: 30 (available on site).
