The southern route of Sichuan-Tibet Highway 318, located along the 30th parallel north, is known as 'China's Scenic Avenue.'

Ya'an

Ya'an City, abbreviated as Ya, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China. It is located in the central-western part of Sichuan Province. The city borders Chengdu, Meishan, and Leshan to the east, Liangshan Prefecture to the south, Ganzi Prefecture to the west, and Aba Prefecture to the north. It is situated in the Daxiangling area on the southwestern edge of the Sichuan Basin. The Qingyi River runs through the central part of the city and flows through the urban area, while the Dadu River is located in the southern part. Hanyuan County

Hanyuan County is a county under the jurisdiction of Ya'an City in Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China. It is located in the middle reaches of the Dadu River, in the central part of Sichuan Province. The total area is 2349 square kilometers, and the population is 329,000.

Shimian County

Shimian County is located in the central-western part of Sichuan Province, China, along the Dadu River. It is a county under the jurisdiction of Ya'an City. The total area is 2,678 square kilometers, and the population was 120,000 in 2002. It was established in 1952 by dividing parts of Hanyuan, Yuexi, and Mianning counties.

Xichang City

Xichang City, located in the southwestern part of Sichuan Province, was originally Xichang County. It is the capital of the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province. The total area of the city is 2,651 square kilometers, and the city governs 37 towns and townships. In the northern part of Xichang, there is the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, one of the three major satellite launch centers in China, hence Xichang is also known as the Space City. The average annual temperature is maintained at 18 degrees Celsius, with up to 320 days of sunshine, and it is also known as the Moon City and Little Spring City.

Panzhihua City

Panzhihua City, formerly known as Dukou City, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China. It is located on the southwestern edge of Sichuan Province. The city's territory borders Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture to the east and north, Lijiang City in Yunnan Province to the west, and Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province to the south. It is situated at the junction of the Hengduan Mountains and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with higher terrain in the northwest and lower terrain in the southeast.

Zhaojue County

The Yi ethnic group has a long history of residing in Zhaojue County, with ancestors living here as early as the late Eastern Han Dynasty. Zhaojue is located in the heart of the Daliang Mountains, holding a significant geographical position. It is a crucial area on the ancient post road from Sichuan to Yunnan, regarded as a strategic location since the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Leibo County

Leibo County boasts a variety of tourism resources. To the east, there is a provincial-level scenic area, a provincial geological park, and Mahu Lake, the third largest high-altitude deep-water lake in China. To the south, there is the Jinsha River Grand Canyon, known as the Hundred-Mile Gallery. To the west, there are 270,000 acres of contiguous grasslands and the 'Dream Valley.' To the north, there is the Mamize Provincial Nature Reserve, the southernmost habitat of the giant panda in the world, and its surrounding primeval forests. Cultural tourism resources include Yi culture, folk song culture, and the culture of Meng Huo from the Three Kingdoms period.

Muchuan Bamboo Sea

Muchuan Bamboo Sea is located in Yongfu Town on National Highway 213, southeast of Muchuan County, 20 kilometers from Muchuan County, 120 kilometers from Leshan, and more than 200 kilometers from Chengdu. The total area of the scenic spot is over 50 square kilometers, characterized by Danxia landform, with an average altitude of 450 meters. The central tourist area has a bamboo forest area of more than 10 square kilometers. There are over 100,000 mu of Moso bamboo in the undulating mountains and river valleys. When the breeze blows, the green waves ripple, forming a continuous wave, stretching as far as the eye can see, hence the name Bamboo Sea.

Leshan City

Leshan, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, was historically known as Jiazhou and is renowned as the 'Fragrant Land of Begonias.' It is located in the central part of Sichuan Province, in the southwestern part of the Sichuan Basin, with higher terrain in the southwest and lower terrain in the northeast, belonging to the mid-subtropical climate zone. Leshan is an important industrial city in Sichuan Province, a regional central city in the southern part of the Chengdu Economic Zone, an important hub city, a key transportation node, and a port city in the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration. The Chengdu-Kunming Railway and the Chengdu-Guiyang High-Speed Railway run through the entire region.

Meishan City

Meishan is renowned as the hometown of Chinese pickles, the hometown of longevity in China, the hometown of high-quality rice in China, the hometown of navel oranges in China, and the hometown of bamboo weaving art in China. Within its territory lies the Emei Half-Mountain Qiliping International Tourism Resort.
