Northern city of southern city: Tianjin Xiaodian

Tianjin is more like a southern city among the northern cities. A Haihe River runs through the city, making many dry cities in the north envious. In addition, there are the Five Avenues, a group of buildings with a Western style that were once colonized, making Tianjin very fashionable. Cafes, bars, and grocery stores are scattered along the Five Avenues, and you can casually stroll and encounter lovely street corner shops, which is very pleasant.

Wubianji

This is a space that gathers various beauties, located in a small Western-style building on the edge of Wudadao in Tianjin. The first floor is a floral studio, and as soon as you enter, you are greeted by the scent of plants, which is a nice start. The second floor houses a bookstore, and the space becomes more spacious. The beverage bar is located on the balcony. There are also many cushions and chairs in the corners for reading convenience. The books are mainly art-related, along with magazines and cultural and creative products. The wooden Western-style building creaks as you walk, but it surprisingly fits the atmosphere here, adding a lot of charm.

Hidden House

A low-key retro bar on Chongqing Road, you first pass through a small courtyard before entering. The first floor features a lively bar area where you can sit on high stools and chat with the bartender, or enjoy a drink alone for a good night's sleep. By the way, you don't have to order from the menu here; just tell the bartender your preferences, and they will create a special drink just for you. The second floor is a large European-style study with perfect lighting and great furniture, ideal for gatherings with friends. It's worth mentioning that the chef here is Japanese, so you must try the Japanese-style skewers with perfect sauce.

ANY HOW Lifestyle Aesthetics Pavilion

ANY HOW offers seasonal desserts in each season, with attractive presentation and excellent taste. The spacious open-air terrace on the top floor is furnished with both bar counters and sofa booths, providing a panoramic view of the surrounding historical buildings. It is especially suitable for spending a comfortable afternoon tea time with a few friends or a loved one.

Feeler.萬 Shop

This old villa on Chengdu Road is not hard to find; it once belonged to the French church. The coffee roasting products are named THE FEEL. You might not find complex flavor descriptions on the coffee beans roasted by the owner, Rift. There are no luxurious decorations or expensive coffee equipment here. Rift says the name emphasizes the importance of 'feeling.' He hopes people can first feel the coffee, then understand it, without being influenced by preconceived information.

Rain & Lounge

Styled after the Prohibition era, the entrance to the bar is hidden inside a phone booth, and you need to press the doorbell to enter. The place is small, with only a few tables, but if you like to watch the bartending up close, you can sit at the bar. The owner is a bartender who excels in magic tricks and is also a music enthusiast. You don't need to stick to the menu when ordering; just tell the owner your preferred taste. There are also many unique house-made drinks here, each one very distinctive and highly cost-effective. We recommend a sandalwood-based cocktail that will remind you of DIPTYQUE's TAM DAO perfume, which is both niche and elegant.
Tianjin Grand Theatre is the core building of Tianjin Cultural Center. The total construction area of the Grand Theatre is 101,200 square meters, consisting of an opera hall, a concert hall, a small theater, and a multifunctional hall, with a total seating capacity of 3,600. It adopts the world's most advanced sound and light systems and stages various types of performances such as operas, dance dramas, musicals, symphonies, chamber music, dramas, and traditional Chinese operas. The arc-shaped roof of the Grand Theatre echoes the existing Natural History Museum, forming a dialogue. The concept of 'round sky and square earth' is a fundamental idea in Chinese philosophy. The Grand Theatre, facing the vast lake, resembles an open shell, with the opera hall, concert hall, and multifunctional hall like pearls on this shell. These three halls are independent buildings unified by the large roof.

CRAFT COCKTAIL & WHISKY

This place is quite popular, so if you arrive late, you might need to wait for a table. The environment features a high-ceilinged vintage style. There are no live singers, which adds a sense of relaxation and ease. You can hear lively conversations all around, but it's a comfortable kind of noise. The whisky here generally tastes good, and the cocktails are crafted with great finesse. The fruit platter is not large, but the fruits are very fresh. There are 4 signature cocktails here: Cocktail Bud, Singapore Sling, Zombie, and Prohibitionist. The drinkware has a Southeast Asian flair, adding a touch of variation to the vintage ambiance.
