If I temporarily park in the Black Forest in Germany, with my luggage in the car, and I get out to play or eat, will someone break the window and steal my luggage ?

The small town is still relatively safe, but try to be careful all the same. Cover up

There are no ghosts in the forest, so who would smash the car?

Just ran through the Black Forest, including the panoramic road and B500 scenic road, took two days, D1: Freiburg - Hinterzarten - Waldkirch - Schiltach. D2: Schiltach - Wolfach - Freudenstadt - Mummelsee - Baden-Baden. As far as I can remember, there are not many places to stop and enjoy the scenery outside the suburbs for a long time, maybe 1 or 2. We generally choose to eat in the towns, where there are regular parking lots, so it's very safe. We also put our large luggage in the trunk, no problem, the principle is to keep valuables out of sight, don't attract thieves, just don't let others see that there are valuable things inside the car, Germany is still very safe.
