Not sure if it's easy to drive a manual transmission car rented in Germany ?

If you have the technical skills, manual is great, the rent is cheap, the upgrade space for the model is large, it saves gas, otherwise, automatic is better.
Whether you have the foundation of going abroad Road trip and manual transmission? If it's the first time going abroad Road trip, don't drive manual transmission.
Manual transmission is easy to drive. I used to drive in the UK. However, the roads in Germany are under construction in the summer. This time, the note only requires an automatic transmission. There were a few traffic jams from Heidelberg to Cologne, and an automatic transmission is more convenient.
If you can drive, there's no problem at all. It's also good to have manual, and it's cheaper.
