Yinchuan City is the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is located in the northwest region of China and is known as the "Jiangnan on the Frontier" due to its beautiful and fertile Ningxia Plain, with the majestic Helan Mountains to the west and the flowing Yellow River to the east. It is an important center city in the northwest region.

Zhenbeibao Western Film Studio is located in the suburbs of Yinchuan, Ningxia, in the town of Zhenbeibao. It is a film base in the northwest region of China. Tanglai Canal, also known as Tang Canal, was built during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian of the Tang Dynasty. It has been renovated by various dynasties. The canal head is located beside Qingtongxia, flowing north through Qingtongxia, Yongning, Yinchuan, Helan, and other counties, and ends in Pingluo County. The total length is 322 kilometers, with more than 500 large and small channels, irrigating 900,000 mu of farmland.
