This is an old shop that has been around for over ten years. It has received great reviews in the surrounding area. The owner is very enthusiastic. The stewed reservoir fish is freshly cooked and delicious, and it's only a kilometer away from the reservoir. The accommodation conditions are also excellent—clean, bright, and comfortable.

Cuandixia Scenic Area is located in Zhai Tang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing. It is a national-level cultural heritage site. According to legend, the ancestors of this village migrated here from Shanxi during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty and established it as a settlement for the Han family. This place was once a prosperous fortress on the way from Beijing to Shaanxi, Shanxi, and Hebei. It has been a fiercely contested area in military history. Cuandixia Village, which has undergone hundreds of years of vicissitudes, still retains the original appearance of its residents, with ancient Ming and Qing Dynasty houses. It was selected as one of the first batch of famous historical and cultural villages in China.

The boss is enthusiastic and the dishes are exquisite. The prices are fair, typical of a rural-style restaurant. The scallion pancake, vegetable dumplings, pressed meat, and braised pork with green beans are all good. Taking children to enjoy authentic farmhouse cuisine and the joy of family, it feels really good.

Cuan Dixo Village has a Ming-Qing style courtyard. I chose to stay here mainly to experience the charm of the ancient village in a peaceful manner. The facilities here are quite modern, except that the space is small. If you prefer hotels, you can have dinner and take a stroll in the evening and stay in the town along National Highway 109 nearby.
