Spring is the best time for outings. People in Beijing traditionally have a spring pancake feast on the day of the Spring Equinox. Although some time has passed since the Spring Equinox, the spring pancake feast is still popular. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and the prices are affordable. The portion sizes are so big that it's impossible to finish them. In the past, there were many customs and rules for eating spring pancakes in the villages, but now it's more casual. There are a wide variety of dishes, and both the vegetables and meat are fresh. If there are a lot of people, the boss will even serve steamed dishes, which are delicious and affordable.

Qikong Bridge is located on the east side of Changchi Road, Shisanling Town, Changping District. It has flowers all year round, including lavender and gesang flowers. There are large areas of various colorful flowers planted below the bridge, which is famous as "Qikong Bridge Flower Sea". Flowers like Cymbidium and wildflowers with earlier flowering periods have bloomed, and there are also various flower landscapes planted by the garden workers nearby, forming the initial shape of a flower sea. Many tourists have started visiting and enjoying the scenery.

If you like barbecue, you can have dinner at Longmu Mountain Villa located north of the Thirteen Tombs. You can rent tables, chairs, and barbecue grills in the villa. Prepare some skewers and enjoy your homemade barbecue by the lake, which is very pleasant. If you don't choose barbecue, there are also farmhouse dishes available, such as grilled rainbow trout, pancakes, vegetable dumplings, and cast iron pot roasted chicken. The chickens, geese, and sheep used for barbecue are all raised on their own. Both the drinks and the villa's products are self-produced and sold, absolutely safe and reliable.

After strolling around Changyucheng Village, you can stay for a lunch. Changyucheng's pig's trotters feast is famous because of Villager Lao Zhao. The pig's trotters in his house are cooked with ordinary seasoning, but they are incredibly tender and flavorful. One bite is filled with collagen, and adding some vegetables to refresh the palate will definitely make it a satisfying and happy lunch.

The only restaurant in the temple, you can give it a try. They serve simple vegetarian dishes without excessive seasoning, using relatively simple ingredients and presenting humble appearances. The food is very fresh. I recommend trying their vegetable dumplings, tomato scrambled eggs, Di San Xian (a Chinese dish with potatoes, eggplant, and green peppers stir-fried together), and the vegetarian dish that resembles meat.
