Introduction

Cuàn Bǎi Scenic Area in Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing, is a national cultural heritage site. Legend has it that in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, ancestors of the Han family migrated here from Shanxi and established a settlement. Because of its location on the route from Beijing to Shaanxi, Shanxi, and Kouwai, it prospered and was also a strategic location for military conflicts. After hundreds of years of vicissitudes, the village of Cuàndǐxià still retains its original appearance, namely Ming and Qing Dynasty style residences, and it has been selected as one of the first batch of Chinese historical and cultural famous villages.

Transportation

Bus Route: Take the 929 branch line bus directly to Cuandixia Village from the west side of Apple Park Subway Station, 150 meters away. There are two round trips every day, at 7:30 in the morning and 12:40 noon from Apple Park to Cuandixia (please confirm with the conductor when boarding). There are also buses at 10:30 in the morning and 15:30 in the afternoon from Cuandixia to Apple Park. Extra buses will be added during the Golden Week holiday. Driving Route: From Fushi Road, turn right at Shuangyu Road intersection in Mentougou district, and continue onto National Highway 109. After 84.9 kilometers, turn off the highway and continue for another 5 kilometers to reach the destination. From Lian Shi Road (Lianhua Bridge), turn right at the Shimenying roundabout in Mentougou and continue on Shidan Road. Then, continue onto National Highway 109. After 84.9 kilometers, turn off the highway and continue for another 5 kilometers to reach the destination.
