Introduction

Looking down on the city from the top of Montserrat, you will be amazed at your smallness. On the top of the mountain stands a church, carved with a statue of the suffering Christ, which is said to have had countless miracles.

Transportation

Take the J23, J70, or J72 TransMilenio bus and get off at the Las Aguas station, or take the J6, J24, J73, or J95 and get off at the Universidades station. After getting off, walk east for about 15-20 minutes to reach the cable car ticket office. Alternatively, take the C125 SITP bus and get off at Teleféricos de Monserrate, then walk east for about 5 minutes to reach the ticket office. You can also take any private minibus with "Germania" or "Centro" written on it and tell the driver that you want to go to Monserrate Mountain. The driver will remind you to get off.
