Introduction
Greenwich Village is located on the north shore of Lake Wakatipu and is one of the filming locations for movies such as "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey". The misty mountains, full of mystery, are located on the northwest slope of Enshlo Mountain in front of you, witnessing many legendary stories. The ancient dwarven city of Moria is located at the foot of the mountain, where Bilbo Baggins obtained the Ring in the caves below. In one of the most exciting fight scenes in the film, stone giants were hidden in the mountains.
Visitors can choose to hike through the beech forest and follow the "Road to Paradise" in "The Lord of the Rings" to find Lothlórien. Arrowtown near Queens Town is also worth a visit. You can walk along the Arrow River to the Brunnan Crossing, where Frodo encountered the Nazgul and launched a crusade with the elf Arwen. Especially the route from Arrowtown to the Wakatipu Green, you can imagine that this is the plot in "The Lord of the Rings". Wakatipu Green is the Gladden Fields in the movie, where King Isildur of Gondor was ambushed and killed by half orcs.
At the Zard Vineyard, visitors can not only taste delicious wine but also enjoy the magnificent view of Anduin and Argonath (Pillars of the Kings). The Pillars of the Kings were created by computer post-synthesis.
Traveling on the Crown Range Road, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Cardrona Valley. Going to the top of Cardrona Mountain, you can overlook the entire Middle-earth and appreciate the magnificent scenery of the Anduin River and the Pillars of the Kings, the Dimrill Dale, and the distant Amon Han Hills by the shores of Lake Lhân.
