The museum houses nearly 300 precious classic cars, including the vintage Kombi Mini Bus series, early classic Ford series and Model T, classic 1930s V8 cars, as well as more than 150 classic retro gas pumps. Many of the collections here are undoubtedly "world-class collections".
The museum houses over 300 classic motorcycle treasures and a large amount of motorcycle-themed artwork. Additionally, there is a themed café for visitors to enjoy delicious food before or after touring the exhibits. It is worth noting that all the decorations and fixtures in the museum's restrooms are based on motorcycles, and staff strongly encourage visitors to check out all the restrooms (both men and women's) to fully explore the novelty and surprises designed by the creators for visitors.
Haier Father and Son Motorcycle Workshop
Southland hero rider Burt Munro, famous for setting the 1,000 CC world record in Bonneville on August 26, 1967, rode the "fastest Indian motorcycle in the world" during the competition, and the authentic bike is on display in this motorcycle shop.
Inverkagil Brewery
A local brewery in Invercargill specializes in producing high-quality craft beer. Unlike other breweries, this brewery focuses on quality over quantity and has a smaller production. Therefore, their beer is not widely available in supermarkets or liquor stores.

The Southland Museum and Art Gallery is located in the city center, backed by the famous Queen's Park. The museum has a café, an official i-SITE visitor center, a gift shop, and a gallery dedicated to ancient tuatara lizards.
