Introduction

The church, built in 1861, is the oldest in Queenstown. All of its building materials were sourced from the Queenstown Bay and were built by the first group of immigrants who went overseas. The church is designed with a beamless structure and equipped with a beautiful organ and colorful stained glass. The pulpit was hand-carved by a Chinese immigrant named Ah Tong in the 1880s, using cedarwood.
