Introduction

The University of Western Australia is a well-known university located on the banks of the Swan River and is one of the eight five-star universities in Australia. Its natural scenery and classical architecture have been repeatedly rated as the most beautiful university in Australia. The campus of UWA is very open, without gates, and can be freely accessed at any time. On one side of the campus, Stirling Highway, there is an iconic building, Winthrop Hall, built in 1932, where important activities and graduation ceremonies are held every year. The art department not far from the campus is particularly interesting because there are several peacocks wandering freely on the campus, which is also a feature of UWA. The last building on the campus is the business school, which was completed and put into use in 2009 and belongs to the modern architectural style. The University of Western Australia covers an area of 65 hectares.
