Introduction

The Perth Mint, located on Hay Street, is one of the oldest mints in the world and is still in operation. Visitors can tour the coin and gold-making processes and experience the charm of 19th-century architecture. Tour guides accompany visitors to the mint for free, explaining the history of coin-making in Western Australia and demonstrating the coin-making process. The Perth Mint is also the largest gold bar exhibition in the world, and it also collects the largest gold nugget discovered in Australia. Transportation
We are located in the city center of Perth, about a 20-minute walk from the central train station. Alternatively, you can take the free Red or Yellow Cat buses. If taking the Red Cat, get off at Stop 6 and walk east on Hill St, then turn right on Hay St for a total of 300 meters. If taking the Yellow Cat, get off at Stop 27 Wellington Fair and walk south on Hill St until you reach Hay St, for a total of about 400 meters.
